This assignment provided me with valuable experiences. It enhances my understanding of lighting and shading. Through this assignment, I am more aware of how these environmental factors affect the building’s ambience and experience of use. I gained basic knowledge of sun path position and how it impacts building from time to time and came out with passive design strategies to provide comfortable spatial experiences for users. Lastly, this assignment gave me the opportunity to learn Autodesk Revit in making simple models.
